A Thrilling Challenge and Rich ExprienceThe Links at Live Oak Preserve defines our community lifestyle. And the renowned Bobby Weed Golf Design defines your golf experience.

Bobby Weed courses are highly acclaimed and consistently ranked at the top of their class. Both Weed and his mentor, Pete Dye, draw inspiration from Scotland’s famed “links” courses where holes are linked along beaches and among windswept dunes. In fact, Live Oak Preserve’s residential villages are named after Scotland’s famed original courses.

Golf Among NatureWith its woods, dunes and lakes, The Links at Live Oak Preserve will be home to hundreds of native and migratory bird species. Salt-infused breezes and calls of seabirds create an incomparable atmosphere that immerses golfers in the sights and sounds of nature. Contours crease impeccably maintained fairways. Large greens and sculpted bunkers shape strategy. Gulf winds and varying hole lengths define a course that’s meant to be re-discovered time and time again.

Respecting the Natural Habitat...The Links at Live Oak Preserve relies extensively on Seashore Paspalum, a rich, new turf grass that thrives along shorelines and tolerates high salt environments, as well as treated water recycled from resort facilities. Marsh reeds that rim the course’s lagoons and ponds will filter cart path and road runoff.

The course creates a swath of open space that links the community together – a landscape that encourages recreational activities. Homes will sit back from the course, providing spectacular views of nature without intruding on the golfing experience.

Out...and Back Again...Both the front and back nine journey through inviting open spaces before returning to the Town Center. A sequence and rhythm that’s recognizable to residents of the British Isles, where golf is the essential thread in the fabric of a community, and the venue for temporarily escaping it.

So it will be with The Links at Live Oak Preserve.
